Hillsborough County is currently 2nd in the STATE for entering information in the VAN file (our voter file)! This valuable information will continue to help us as we canvass, phone bank, and organize mailings. This information will also be invaluable to our candidates. Want to get in on the action? Please contact Susan Smith, via email or Rosalind Moffett, via email to receive a list of 25 of your Democratic Neighbors. Contact them, make some friends, and help us reach 1st place! We will give you all the tools you need!
MAY 10TH BRINGS A MASS VOTER REGISTRATION EFFORT
Hillsborough County will be dotted with volunteers this May 10th, all out to register voters! The Democratic National Committee and the Campaign to Elect Barack Obama will be working together to ensure we register all those wishing to take part in the general election this November.
If you are interested in being a part of this effort, please contact Becky Gorham, our Events Coordinator, via email to get on the list. Our efforts will be here in Brandon and the immediately surrounding area. |

Browse through what we're up to ...
On APRIL 27, 2008, the club was out in full force - we had a table at the 11th Annual Islamic Charity Festival at Riverfront Park. And we had members marching in the Puerto Rican Cultural Day Parade in Ybor City. We support our community!
On APRIL 25, 2008, club members, Don and Rosalind hosted a successful house party fundraiser for the Florida Democratic Party! It was a great time in Dover!
On APRIL 22, 2008, club members were present in support of the Candidate Forum for Congressional District 9. Mr. John Dicks, Mr. Bill Mitchell and Mrs. Anita dePalma were present and answered many questions on important topics. Visit WMNF's site for interview clips.
